Volunteers are an important part of Shiloh and contribute to our work in many different ways – from welcoming guests and helping in our kitchen, to supporting activities, fundraising, enterprise and more.

Whatever your role, volunteering at Shiloh is a chance to share your skills, meet new people, gain experience and be part of a team supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Rotherham.

We are proud to have previously received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, recognising the dedication and contribution of our volunteers.

We welcome people with different skills, experiences, beliefs and backgrounds. You don’t need to have worked in homelessness services before, but you do need to be aged 18 or over and share our commitment to Shiloh’s vision and values.

We want volunteering at Shiloh to be a positive experience too. Our volunteers are valued members of the team and are supported to develop their skills, build confidence and contribute in ways that make the most of what they have to offer.
