What an amazing day!! Last Friday, as part of the Diocese of Sheffield’s Crossroads Mission, Bishop of Bolton, Chris Edmonson and the members of the Diocese team joined guests for breakfast, and listened to individual testimonies about why Shiloh is so important to the people of Rotherham.
He then ‘kick-started’ the days activities by playing table-tennis with Shiloh team captain Steve Mackin. Amber and Paul from the Crossroads Mission team then joined guests for lunch before members of churches from across the Deanery popped in throughout the afternoon.
Tony Higgins proved an excellent ‘receptionist’ greeting the visitors warmly as they arrived whilst other guests and volunteers gave tours of the buildings before serving refreshments.
All agreed it was a wonderful day of ‘Mission and Outreach’. We must do it again!!
