Shiloh is a Rotherham based charity that supports adults who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Founded in 1992, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers provide a range of support services including advice & guidance, activities & learning, practical support, rapid housing assistance and volunteering pathways.  We aim to support all of our guests to live a fulfilling and independent life.

Opening times

Staff are usually available at the Centre from Monday to Friday between 8.30am- 4.30pm. We offer help and advice to individuals without appointment, especially if you are sleeping rough and in need of practical support. We also provide the following drop-in sessions:

Mondays & Fridays, 10am-1pm, Rotherham Council – Homeless Team
Shiloh and Rotherham Council can help you resolve queries and understand your housing options. This session is for adults who need extra support or are struggling to access services.

Wednesdays, 11am-1pm, Multi-Agency Drop-in Session
Our friendly, trained staff and volunteers are on hand to help you engage with a range of partners including Rotherham Council’s Homeless Team, the Drug/Alcohol Service, Action Housing, Job Centre Plus, Citizens Advice, NHS nurses and a Mental Health Clinician. Free hot food, drinks, computer access & pastoral support are also available.

Support for rough sleepers

Shiloh is not an emergency service. If you are a rough sleeper or know someone who is, please contact Rotherham Council as soon as possible tel 01709 336009 or out of hours by calling 07748143170.  There is emergency accommodation available for everyone at risk of rough sleeping with full support available to progress to a new home. You can also contact StreetLink who have a national rough sleeper helpline, they can also offer advice and support.
